Kevin was unique, passionate about the things he loved. Horn, music, trains, trams, and his drama groups then, me, I used to say. Sometimes I would say he should go on Mastermind his topic being Trains.

But Kevin was my best friend as well as my partner. We have had a rollercoaster time in the past 3 years.
We met in Tamworth. He made me use the train to meet - typical Kevin.   

Having short breaks having to use the train every time, and going to Italy are fantastic memories. 

Kevin introduced me to the National Trust where he would have to play the piano if we saw one. We also enjoyed walking and just being at home, quiet and watching a film. 

The battle of MND had many ups and downs, losing the ability to play the horn being the biggest problem. For his last birthday in July, four of his fellow horn players were organised to surprise him in the garden keeping social distancing with my family and his brother which he loved.

Kevin and I enjoyed our short time together which has left me with a massive hole in my heart but lots of happy memories.
