I thought I would share this with you all.

Kevin Boyd would have been very proud. Just want to thank Network Rail for making me smile today with a lasting memory of Kevin.

Below is an extract from their internal Network Rail internet - Level crossing renamed in memory of dedicated railway engineer:-

· A level crossing near Worcester is to be renamed to remember a railwayman who worked to make crossings safer for people who use them.
· Drakes Broughton 13 crossing will be renamed Boyd's Crossing in honour of Kevin Boyd who died earlier this year.
· The renaming of a level crossing was chosen to commemorate Kevin because of his significant contributions and dedication to the national level crossing team.

The crossing is not far from my home and I will be making a visit!
